Austra 04 VFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vampiros Aztecas the free kick. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Abeitia in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Ahmet Erdem Zekai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, 武 曹操 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters crossed their fingers, but 武 曹操 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Rolf Weyand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Chayo having to interfere. Vampiros Aztecas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
