Jon Iruegas made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Binjamin Ketelers sent off a good shot on target. Keanu Reeves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Luciano in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Luciano in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keanu Reeves saved Tabalongo AFC from getting behind. Tabalongo AFC's Ariel Bautista came free and shot a quick shot against goal 21 minutes in the game, fortunately Jon Iruegas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 24th minute of the game Yerko Van Dijk made a throw-in which Serafín Berganza played forward. Fernanco Peso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keanu Reeves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Peso in the 29th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Keanu Reeves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Cristal were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gertjan De Ryck took the corner. The corner ended in Gertjan De Ryck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tabalongo AFC's Keanu Reeves did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, Fernanco Peso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keanu Reeves. Tabalongo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernanco Peso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 37th minute Tobias Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keanu Reeves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Antonio Slier hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tabalongo AFC's Keanu Reeves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Luciano in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tabalongo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gertjan De Ryck was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Cristal's players had a chance to rest. Sporting Cristal's Gertjan De Ryck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Keanu Reeves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sporting Cristal made a substitution. Ludomil Kolba replaced Hüseyin Turan Elçibey. Sporting Cristal's attentive Ludomil Kolba managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Cueto made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernanco Peso to make the kick off. Christian Luciano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 51st playminute. Sporting Cristal's Jon Iruegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafín Berganza in the 54th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Sporting Cristal's Keanu Reeves threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernanco Peso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 58 minutes of play, Sporting Cristal's Christian Luciano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keanu Reeves was left in no man's land by his defense there!
