Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Basso in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Conrado Erramun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Conrado Erramun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fiori Mota. Vila Nova FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Erramun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Nova FC's zone, Sebastian Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Mota came out of the goal and Sebastian Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Postelnicescu in the 35th minute of play. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Machine Gun Kelly from getting a goal against them. Cléber Basso struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Tadeo Udalaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Nova FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Machine Gun Kelly's Tony Parker was substituted for Sebastian Kismi. The wind increased when Conrado Erramun made the kick off in the second half. Jiang Nan Han struck a weak shot in the 58th minute.
