With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremije Mirković saved EngTULIO&Tupipano from getting behind. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. David Seaman was a little too slow when Wanderson Sabóia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Arsenio Gipuzkoa, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Jindrák came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremije Mirković took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves André Vizitiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which David Seaman however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Thomás Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Seaman. Jenipapo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomás Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Jenipapo SC's corner Börje Kämpe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeremije Mirković quite easily take care of the ball. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Terra in the 41st minute of play. David Seaman made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when André Vizitiu sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
