With an all-out effort, TIBURON F.C's George Buturugã threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Justin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Honorio Justin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buturugã was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute TIBURON F.C were awarded a corner. Paco Sancho went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Enzo Peres managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TIBURON F.C's Maximino Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 34th minute of play. Maximino Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, TIBURON F.C's Verners Bodnieks got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Sancho in the 52nd minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaan Öztanır got free with Maximino Merexildo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Maximino Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Peres in the 70th minute of play. Maximino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, TIBURON F.C's Paco Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. The corner ended in Atak Koral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TIBURON F.C's Maximino Merexildo did a great save. LOI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
