Ortigia Siracusa's Cesare Tristezza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save C.C. Ortigia Siracusa from getting a goal against them. Davide Negri struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Frank Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.C. Ortigia Siracusa. In the 16th minute, Nemanja Vidić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Tristezza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Franco Giocondo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's protests and gave Franco Giocondo a yellow card for diving instead. Franco Giocondo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's George Dănănae got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Cesar Larra managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Hector Ruiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cesare Tristezza made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Negri in the 29th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Frank Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's Cesare Tristezza got control of the ball when Hector Ruiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesare Tristezza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAPRIMECKBEL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Larra in the 37th minute. The corner led SAPRIMECKBEL's Cesar Larra to fire away a dangerous shot which Cesare Tristezza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. SAPRIMECKBEL's Jaime Quiros pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. SAPRIMECKBEL made a substitution. Lei Cheng Yao replaced Jaime Quiros. A collision led to C.C. Ortigia Siracusa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Francesco Cera hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Cesar Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Tristezza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Tristezza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's goalkeeper Cesare Tristezza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davide Negri was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Lei Cheng Yao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Tristezza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.C. Ortigia Siracusa getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alex Nuñez hit a great ball. Cesare Tristezza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Valverde in the 55th minute of play. Hector Ruiz scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesare Tristezza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesar Larra was slow to take the kick. During this time SAPRIMECKBEL's players had a chance to rest. Cesar Larra made a great header on SAPRIMECKBEL's corner, it was just that C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's Cesare Tristezza managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Ruiz in the 66th minute of play forced C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's goalkeeper Cesare Tristezza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Tristezza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Ruiz in the 84th minute of play. Cesare Tristezza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Lei Cheng Yao notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of C.C. Ortigia Siracusa's Cesare Tristezza. Cesare Tristezza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesare Tristezza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Ruiz in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Hector Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Tristezza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAPRIMECKBEL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
