Frederico Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Villaverde Celeste Clube's zone, Frederico Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Linares came out of the goal and Frederico Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City's Frederico Barros got a free kick in the 36th minute. Andrézinho Vieira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Alfredo Linares made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Luiz Eduardo de Salles sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Barros came free, but Alfredo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sten to make the kick off. ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City's attentive Alfredo Simão managed to snatch the ball when Alberto Valladares made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City's Alfredo Simão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alberto Valladares in the 55 minute of the game. Alfredo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Frederico Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City's Cristian Schmidt was substituted for Adilson Ortiz. Denílson de Souza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Barros came free, but Alfredo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Barros in the 77th minute of the match. Gonçalo Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the referee ended the match the ≮王者归来≯Kowloon City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
