But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patryk Snaza couldn't finish the play. Patryk Snaza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Songur Çelikyay having to make a save. If Patryk Snaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ksawery Rutkowski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Irons Chorzów's zone, Boruc Orling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Lech came out of the goal and Boruc Orling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech got control of the ball when Manolo Rey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Radzyminski in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, one of Cielii FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cielii FC. 24 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's Patryk Snaza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Songur Çelikyay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Irons Chorzów were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Cielii FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patryk Snaza took the corner. Patryk Snaza made a great header on The Irons Chorzów's corner, it was just that Cielii FC's Songur Çelikyay managed to reach the ball for a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Songur Çelikyay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, Cielii FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Radzyminski to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Orling during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Cielii FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Irons Chorzów:s goal.

Boruc Orling was slow to take the kick. During this time Cielii FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Irons Chorzów's goalie and right to Izydor Radzyminski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Irons Chorzów's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 54th minute, Patryk Snaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damazy Posadzkis short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Songur Çelikyay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
