Florentino Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Julián Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's goal looked a bit too open when Julián Alvarez came free, but Gabriel Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Julián Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hornos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julián Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Juan Bautista made the kick off in the second half. Juan Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Bautista hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Juan Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Abel Jayvier in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Hornos's Abelardo Locaio.
