The referee ignored Project B's protests and gave Rodolfo Garikoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Fulgencio Shepherd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Daniel Cristofol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 21st minute Daniel Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Abeijon came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Fausto Abarca. But to his dismay, Fausto Abarca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 0-4 became the score in the 30th minute when Fulgencio Shepherd elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Haroldo Suarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Octavio Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Project B getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Delmar Urtzi hit a great ball. The Project B players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abuba Akotonon FC were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Shepherd made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Suarez in the 53rd minute of play forced Project B's goalkeeper Octavio Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Project B's Octavio Abeijon got control of the ball when Milton Giménez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Dodorol in the 62nd minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Benicio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Merexildo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Octavio Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Abuba Akotonon FC's Fulgencio Shepherd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Joaquin Dodorol hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Project B's goalkeeper Octavio Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Cristofol. After 82 played minutes Project B got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Merexildo. Project B's Octavio Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Project B from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Project B's goalkeeper Octavio Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Cristofol. Jaime Giro lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Abuba Akotonon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Dodorol in the 98th minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC played a much better game than Project B and deserved their victory. The Project B players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
