Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fulgencio Shepherd took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Turi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Txeru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute Angelo Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, one of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abuba Akotonon FC. Abuba Akotonon FC:s Benicio Txeru showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Erauso:s penalty. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rodolfo Hodei hit a great ball. Benicio Txeru came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Cosme Turi. But to his dismay, Cosme Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Turi came free, but Benicio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Shepherd in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Demesio. 34 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Gutxi came free, but Benicio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Cosme Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Txeru. Abuba Akotonon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Demesio in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Turi came free, but Benicio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Abuba Akotonon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cable a Tierra were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Gutxi made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Benicio Txeru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Gutxi. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Gerazan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Txeru was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Angelo Erauso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Txeru. Angelo Erauso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Blas-Armando Giunta charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas-Armando Giunta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas-Armando Giunta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Turi in the 71st minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Benicio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Vinicio Gerazan got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Fulgencio Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abuba Akotonon FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Giménez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Cosme Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Peruanton hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Vinicio Gerazan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Txeru. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosme Turi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Txeru. That made the score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. The Cable a Tierra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cable a Tierra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
