Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fulgencio Shepherd started the match with the kick off. Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Eli in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Spams booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bosco Balaban in the 6th minute. Celedonio Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Benicio Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Errapel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Haroldo Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danijel Subašić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bosco Balaban in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Shepherd came free, but Danijel Subašić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Fulgencio Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru got control of the ball when Donato Senen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bosco Balaban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Romulo Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bosco Balaban took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Txeru. Benicio Txeru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 45th match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Eli to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, one of Spams:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spams. The referee gave Abuba Akotonon FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Haroldo Suarez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Spams's Danijel Subašić. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Nestor Umea's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Umea helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Umea hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Bosco Balaban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danijel Subašić came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Milton Giménez. But to his dismay, Milton Giménez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Orlando Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Txeru having to interfere. Bosco Balaban scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Txeru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bosco Balaban in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Humberto Valerio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Benicio Txeru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bosco Balaban in the 96th minute of play. Spams's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
