The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Percival Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. Válter Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allan Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Válter Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 89th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Roceira SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
