Chelsicha's Valentín Laredo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nilson Peres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Barycz in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute Ryszard Barycz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Barycz might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryszard Barycz ran back to his position shaking his head. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Barycz in the 11th minute of the match. Ciro Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Peres having to interfere. Caetano da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Barycz went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes Chelsicha got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Laredo. Ryszard Barycz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ciro Elija took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nilson Peres to make any attempt to save it. Ryszard Barycz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Laredo to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jean-Paul Møffelmand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ITAFUT 4EVER reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ramiro Novaes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Boguslaw Tarasek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
