With a little luck, Família Ressaca MZ's Cleto Gonza got control of the ball when Marcel Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Marcel Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cleto Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Família Ressaca MZ's Cleto Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Nascimento in the 24th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Marcel Nascimento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cleto Gonza. Marcel Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When Família Ressaca MZ's Geovanni Baptista in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes TRICOSHOW F.CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Markus Paul Hattermann. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 59th minute of play forced TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ronaldinho do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
