The crowd rose to their feet as Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genílson Massa. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. With his leg Genílson Massa managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Scarlet Speedster's Fausto Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Genílson Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 29th minute. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Genílson Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hermanos CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Genílson Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Los Hermanos CIMZ made a substitution. Silvinho Britto replaced Lucas Folden. When Edward Krzynowek came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Krzynowek couldn't finish the play.

When Fausto Mendonça, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Genílson Massa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Los Hermanos CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genílson Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Mendonça in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Massa saved Los Hermanos CIMZ from getting behind. Kadim Saltuk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Naldo Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel de Lara in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Hermanos CIMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Scarlet Speedster.
