Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BK Gubbhöft's Necip Uysal. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Salkvist in the 11th minute of the match. Mihăiţă Ilarie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Isaac Jonasson made a huge save. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 15th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Madgearu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's Ove Salkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Madgearu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaac Jonasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 24th minute. 35 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goalkeeper Isaac Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. Ove Salkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Madgearu having to make a save. In the 36th minute Ove Salkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaac Jonasson. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ivan Vâtcă in the 57 minute of the game. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. BK Gubbhöft's Ciro Incendio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calistrat Madgearu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Isaac Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, BK Gubbhöft's Hans-Georg Luabunnum ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calistrat Madgearu. Calistrat Madgearu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Isaac Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 89th minute of play. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save MIT from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Orășan came free, but Isaac Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BK Gubbhöft eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
