The audience was convinced that Peter Linkhorst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Mon was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. ManagerZone Crew's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Våleman in the 14th minute. Anderson Schulle kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Wilfredo Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. The supporters of Vikingbeer FC booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Linkhorst didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Tadeo Derwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ununger in the 26th minute of play forced Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Diego Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Thorsten Dietz hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tadeo Derwin took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 61st minute of play forced Vikingbeer FC's goalkeeper Diego Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Tadeo Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Robert Noor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, ManagerZone Crew's Diego Mon threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Ununger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alifonso Marines hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Dietz to maneuver through the defense. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Derwin in the 81st minute of play. Tadeo Derwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Linkhorst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Diego Mon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Noor in the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
