With a little luck, Niebiański&Team's Rüştü Rencber got control of the ball when Fernando Morientes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rüştü Rencber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Morientes in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Niebiański&Team got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Dziurowicz. In the 9th minute, Antoni Tipinski made a precise shot to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. Olimpia HSB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Mirotić in the 12th minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Niebiański&Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko after 22 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Czeszejko in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rüştü Rencber saved Niebiański&Team from getting behind. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Jerzy Gorgoń threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olimpia HSB's Nikola Mirotić quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Czeszejko was the one to do the kick off. Niebiański&Team's Antoni Tipinski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niebiański&Team's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Calito Izquierdoz in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Niebiański&Team's Waclaw Gacek. After 68 played minutes Niebiański&Team got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Munko. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolek Kiszkiel made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Antoni Tipinski sent off a good shot on target. Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak was substituted for Fabian Czeszejko. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Tomáš Petrásek replaced Sixto Yanguas. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Zbyszko Skorny replaced Artur Walczak. Rüştü Rencber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Wilfredo Vellito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Tipinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Tolek Kiszkiel made a huge save. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Niebiański&Team's Antoni Tipinski that got to make the kick off. In the 100th minute, Calito Izquierdoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Niebiański&Team booed when Olimpia HSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 106 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Maxim didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Szymon Dziurowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 108th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 112th match minute, Niebiański&Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Johansson to maneuver through the defense. After 115 played minutes Niebiański&Team got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Munko. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Olimpia HSB players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

Everyone could clearly see that both Olimpia HSB's and Niebiański&Team's players was becoming tired in their legs when Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Pietrowiak in the 120th minute of play forced Niebiański&Team's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 123 minutes into the game, Antoni Tipinski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tolek Kiszkiel. Antoni Tipinski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Niebiański&Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
