Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bannenbusch in the 16th minute of play. Edinson Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tymoteusz Mios made a huge save. KFC Uerdingen 05's Tymoteusz Mios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Edinson Haaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tymoteusz Mios was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Mios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Christopher Mussauer with Zhao Fei Ling as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edinson Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tymoteusz Mios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinson Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. Tymoteusz Mios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
