The referee showed Alvaro Cordarrol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cordarrol. In the 15th minute Orlando Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mats Hermansson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vykans Vikingar's protests and gave Mats Hermansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mats Hermansson hit a great ball. Leonardo Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Emilian Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaplan. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Zhi Ke in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Emilian Martinez managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Cordarrol in the 36th minute of the match. Emilian Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 37th minute of play. Orlando Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. Dong Quan Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaplan's Emilian Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Kaplan from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilian Martinez. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Hugo Eden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Christoffer Johansson hit a great ball. Orlando Teofilio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Cordarrol was the one to do the kick off. Ren Zhi Ke came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Ekrot could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Alvaro Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Abdi Revis replaced Hugo Eden. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Kaplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Toussain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Indalecio in the 64th minute of the match. Kaplan's Emilian Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 75th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdi Revis scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaplan's Teodosio Erramu was substituted for Benedicto Medero. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Bengt-Arne Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fernan Berart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Berart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kaplan's Dong Quan Yang got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 89th minute of play forced Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
