Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 8th minute of play. Wang Cheng Xiang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Ekrot having to make a save. If Wang Cheng Xiang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Cheng Xiang. Victor Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alijilán returns's Radu Fetea got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 24th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Victor Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alijilán returns fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Cheng Xiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Wang Cheng Xiang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Tage Glanselius hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bengt-Arne Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Hílton Souza's late challenge caught a Alijilán returns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hílton Souza helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes, Alijilán returns's Cipriano Tavio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alijilán returns reached it. Martin Mutumba took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Erauso. Victor Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 56th minute Wang Cheng Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Cheng Xiang in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match Alijilán returns got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Tavio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cipriano Tavio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot did a great save. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Cheng Xiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Arne Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Erauso was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vykans Vikingar's goalie prevented a goal. Wang Cheng Xiang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. The Alijilán returns support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
