But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Kowalski couldn't finish the play. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 11th minute of play. BYDGOSTIA's attentive Jairo Estrela managed to snatch the ball when Joakim Mikaelsson made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. After some careless play in the BYDGOSTIA defense, Albin Nilsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Leper. The BYDGOSTIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Leper should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Joakim Mikaelsson hit a great ball. BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 33rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Jairo Estrela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save BYDGOSTIA from getting a goal against them. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Mariusz Warka. BYDGOSTIA were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Linköpings AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Bochynski took the corner. The corner ended in Olgierd Kowalski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson did a great save. Nicklas Lindström scored 1-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmy Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Yu Ran Fan. 96 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Ran Fan came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Linköpings AIK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BYDGOSTIA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
