The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Zielonka Gdansk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patryk Zgonina who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Patryk Zgonina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski did a great save. Jan Tomaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 12th minute of the match. Cyprian Sitko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Zbyszko Leper made a huge save. In the 16th minute Qiu Ling Lang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Tomaszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Kowalski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Zbyszko Leper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Falke in the 19th minute of the match. When BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. Cyprian Sitko hit a great ball. BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Sitko in the 36th minute of play. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Asklöv in the 37th minute of play. Zbyszko Leper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gottfrid Asklöv in the 39th minute. Qiu Ling Lang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgierd Kowalski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Tomaszewski having to make a save. Jan Tomaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Kowalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 47th minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half BYDGOSTIA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jan Tomaszewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Kowalski in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Tomaszewski saved Zielonka Gdansk from getting behind. In the 73rd minute BYDGOSTIA were awarded a corner. Sebastian Bochynski went to the cornerflag to take it. The BYDGOSTIA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BYDGOSTIA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
