The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Lucila Bilbao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Sven Nordkvist notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri. Nicholas Ochavarri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicholas Ochavarri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Ziomkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Gombal Lidon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Norberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kaj Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victoro Cangas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Ochavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute David Trezeguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Tono Baizan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave spikarna the free kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Atakan Pepe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Atakan Pepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Ochavarri was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 33 minutes, Atakan Pepe made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Alessandro Del Piero got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Atakan Pepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Ochavarri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicholas Ochavarri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atakan Pepe's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Hård. Nicholas Ochavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hård in the 43rd minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas Ochavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Hård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicholas Ochavarri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo Espin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nicholas Ochavarri came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by spikarna's Witomir Ziomkowski. But to his dismay, Witomir Ziomkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Nicholas Ochavarri made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Kaj Hård sent off a good shot on target. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Alessandro Del Piero got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atakan Pepe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gombal Lidon took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Norberg. Lars Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 72nd match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atakan Pepe to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Nicholas Ochavarri got control of the ball when Witomir Ziomkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match spikarna got a corner. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atakan Pepe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led spikarna's Atakan Pepe to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicholas Ochavarri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Lucila Bilbao came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Ochavarri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Hård. Nicholas Ochavarri made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Kaj Hård sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Lucila Bilbao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Sven Nordkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. spikarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Nordkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Ochavarri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Del Piero to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of spikarna:s goal. The spikarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing spikarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
