Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Magheran in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Hidalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frits van Gaal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Iker Hidalgo made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Frits van Gaal made a precise shot to the right of Iker Hidalgo. Velho Barreiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Magheran came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velho Barreiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
