Legia Stavanger:s Slavcho Kanov showed great skill when he stopped Lionel-Andrés Messi:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Magheran in the 20th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Magheran. In the 41st minute Juvenal Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Stavanger from getting a goal against them. Legia Stavanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Vasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 72 minutes of play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Luis Vasquez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slavcho Kanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slavcho Kanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel-Andrés Messi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Luis Vasquez came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Vasquez couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Frits van Gaal made a precise shot to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vasquez in the 91st minute of play. Nicolae Ciorogaru hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. S.E. Pindorama Eagles were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Legia Stavanger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lionel-Andrés Messi took the corner. When the referee ended the match the S.E. Pindorama Eagles players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
