Zhou Ke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Fanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Óscar Cordoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Óscar Cordoba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Varallo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Francisco Varallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górce Bemowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Varallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Varallo in the 35th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhou Ke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Maradona in the 39th minute of the match. KS Górce Bemowo's Zhou Ke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Maradona in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Varallo got free with Óscar Cordoba in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sporting de Gijón's Saturnino Curcio was substituted for Kauan de Barros. The wind increased when Matias Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. Wojciech Weyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Óscar Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Óscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Kipper went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. KS Górce Bemowo's Justin Groth was substituted for Baba 董卓. In the 91st minute, Wayne Rooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
