Betinho Mandrak hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evlogi Dzhumayski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pipis Karapatakis was the one to do the kick off. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jurupeba FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jardel Sanches made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Neymar Junior sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrício Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jardel Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Breckenfeld in the 82nd minute. Pipis Karapatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Falcão having to interfere. Jurupeba FC made a substitution. Juarês Guerra replaced Yahya Al Bahar. Pipis Karapatakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrício Falcão having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grêmio FBPA had won after a very even match.
