Cai Qing Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Su Peng Jian came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kopeto's Gavin Sawbridge. But to his dismay, Gavin Sawbridge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Milan Krása showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. FC Kopeto's Milan Krása played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 10th minute of play. Alfred Pilarczyk's late challenge caught a FC Kopeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Pilarczyk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Alfred Pilarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milan Krása showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Qing Yuan in the 37th minute of play. With his leg Milan Krása managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Qing Yuan in the 44th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cai Qing Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

FC Kopeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vratislav Koželuh in the 69th minute. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Qing Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavin Sawbridge got free with Su Peng Jian in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Vitaliy van der Aa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Krása was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
