Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Kasiewski in the 21st minute of the match. The corner led FC Kurdistan's Roberto-Carlos da Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Rhys Dimmock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jörgen Levander struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rhys Dimmock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. Iwan Kasiewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Rhys Dimmock made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Kirkpatrick to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Elliot Nordgren took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Rhys Dimmock to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Sergey Krasinskiy got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Kurdistan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
