Thanks to some nice moves Fredric Hybbert could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Gianluigi Orange however easily saved by the left post. Mathias Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaaddin Solskjær having to make a save. Alaaddin Solskjær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lars Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Kurdistan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Sundström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Sundström in the 24th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Hopp. Gianluigi Orange made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nils Hopp sent off a good shot on target. FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Nils Hopp. Coice de Mula's Medárd Horváth was substituted for Mathias Guerra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medárd Horváth was the one to do the kick off. In the 69th minute Iwan Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluigi Orange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Bammerman in the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Lars Bammerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Coice de Mula booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
