Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cüneyt Berksoy kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, UPTEXTIL.COM's Cüneyt Berksoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Lentini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. UPTEXTIL.COM's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyt Berksoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Lentini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy made a precise shot to the right of Richard Lentini. Floriana Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Paolo Ruisko scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Lentini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Mingo Camats charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mingo Camats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani was substituted for Edward Ellis. Mingo Camats hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mateus Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Stivala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Pontus Hjortberg suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. A well-hit corner resulted in Gabriel Vella heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 35 minutes into the game, Gabriel Vella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floriana Celtics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UPTEXTIL.COM the free kick. Gabriel Vella kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo do Valle in the 39th minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Richard Lentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cüneyt Berksoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Cüneyt Berksoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Richard Lentini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Urpani made a kick off. Cüneyt Berksoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Mateus Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Dawiec's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner. Matt Sciortino went to the cornerflag to take it. Olgierd Dawiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Cruz having to interfere. Mateus Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Urpani, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes, Mário Maldini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UPTEXTIL.COM and the Floriana Celtics players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, UPTEXTIL.COM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Maldini to maneuver through the defense. UPTEXTIL.COM made a substitution. Martin Ødegaard replaced Cüneyt Berksoy. Floriana Celtics made a substitution. Godwin Montesin replaced Gabriel Vella. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cüneyt Berksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Floriana Celtics's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Martin Ødegaard scored to the left of an out of position Richard Lentini, making the score, 1-6. Martin Ødegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Lentini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Ødegaard in the 86th minute. Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Floriana Celtics from getting a goal against them. UPTEXTIL.COM's Jonathan Stam quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Claudio Bailey, made in the 91st minute of the game. When Martin Ødegaard came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the UPTEXTIL.COM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Ødegaard couldn't finish the play.
