Timothy Thorne ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, Gus Weir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Braulio Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Lentini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Chelsea's Wei Bing Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Thake in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Real Chelsea's Wei Bing Ran got control of the ball when Olgierd Dawiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Abel got free with Richard Lentini in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kelvin Oldham kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Richard Lentini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Weir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Testaferrata Viani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wei Bing Ran having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Kyle Thake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wei Bing Ran was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Braulio Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robby Baggio in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wei Bing Ran saved Real Chelsea from getting behind. The Floriana Celtics supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Chelsea's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Chelsea.
