Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) GNUSKALLARNA's William Shakespeare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Shakespeare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Richard Lentini made a huge save. In the 7th minute, GNUSKALLARNA's Einar Kling ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Olgierd Dawiec took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 狄迪烽. 狄迪烽 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Olgierd Dawiec put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of 狄迪烽. After 24 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Vella. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Kling in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Lentini saved Floriana Celtics from getting behind. If Matt Sciortino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If William Shakespeare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 狄迪烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Dawiec in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of GNUSKALLARNA booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Sciortino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes GNUSKALLARNA got a freekick which was hit by Einar Kling. 狄迪烽 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Thake, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Thake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Stivala during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Lentini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Shakespeare went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Olgierd Dawiec who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 狄迪烽 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If William Shakespeare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GNUSKALLARNA were furious when Petter Ström was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to GNUSKALLARNA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Petter Ström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Kling during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when GNUSKALLARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Kling didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Kyle Thake reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 狄迪烽. The goal made the score 3-3. GNUSKALLARNA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Kyle Thake scored to the left of an out of position 狄迪烽, making the score, 3-4. Floriana Celtics's Edward Ellis was substituted for Giorgio Caruana. Floriana Celtics's Robby Baggio was substituted for Olgierd Dawiec. Kyle Thake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Bailey to maneuver through the defense. Richard Lentini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Colas in the 77th minute of play. GNUSKALLARNA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Shakespeare in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on GNUSKALLARNA's corner William Shakespeare fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richard Lentini quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute, Benito Colas made a precise shot to the right of Richard Lentini. Floriana Celtics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Floriana Celtics's Robby Baggio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 狄迪烽. That made the score 4-5 after 83 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, William Shakespeare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Lentini came out of the goal and William Shakespeare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Matt Sciortino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 狄迪烽, 4-6.
