The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Germán Kanø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germán Kanø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Cosme came free, but Fredric Ahlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Cosme scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Ahlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Gonçalo Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Ahlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Barros in the 16th minute of play. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Green Squad FC from getting a goal against them. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germán Kanø in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Germán Kanø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finninge Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Germán Kanø might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germán Kanø ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilvan Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germán Kanø in the 33rd minute. Fredric Ahlén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Barros went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Antunes came free, but Fredric Ahlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Green Squad FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Liljeström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilvan Sanches. That made the score 3-2 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Barros was the one to do the kick off. Conrado Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Ahlén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Cosme got free with Fredric Ahlén in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Finninge Fotboll from getting a goal against them. Finninge Fotboll were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Green Squad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henning Kempf took the corner. In the 68th minute, Harald Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Liljeström in the 71st minute of play. Fredric Ahlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Antunes in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Germán Kanø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 75thth minute of the game Germán Kanø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germán Kanø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germán Kanø during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Finninge Fotboll getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Germán Kanø hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ulisses Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Squad FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulisses Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Ahlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harald Telin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Taio Jauregui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Ahlén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ulisses Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Ahlén having to interfere. Finninge Fotboll's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
