Chu Yuan Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the match, GNUSKALLARNA's goal looked a bit too open when Jules Hebert came free, but 狄迪烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes GNUSKALLARNA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haji Mwaura who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Gendo Matulessy drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind GNUSKALLARNA's goalkeeper. In the 28th minute of the match Niklas Kjellbom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chu Yuan Jian skillfully saved the ball. Chu Yuan Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Löfgren in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of GNUSKALLARNA booed when Atletico Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Coco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Roma's Chu Yuan Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Colas in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to GNUSKALLARNA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Niklas Kjellbom hit a great ball. If Benito Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 56 minutes, Jules Hebert made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. GNUSKALLARNA's 狄迪烽 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Atletico Roma's Cosimo Liberti was substituted for Edoardo Campitelli. Atletico Roma's Ali Bouzayène was substituted for Emanuele Bolognini. With a little luck, Atletico Roma's Chu Yuan Jian got control of the ball when Einar Kling tried to sneak it across the goal line.
