But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Darryl Buckner hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dep Colonia Avellaneda's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal and Adrián Espadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist got control of the ball when Leopoldo Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudio Cerritos in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Josef Justice to maneuver through the defense. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Rodolfo Atarrabi replaced Hernan Lano. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Max Josef Justice hit a great ball. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 76th minute of the match. Răzvan Necula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victoriano Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Darryl Buckner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Romulo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Răzvan Necula put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
