Cactos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Petersen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Cactos got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mario Yepes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera did a great save. Dario Betzanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bran Allison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Petersen in the 18th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Peter Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Dario Betzanos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cactos's Bran Allison. Bran Allison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 30th minute of play. Maurinho Trezeguet struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Hilario Pesquera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cactos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Trezeguet got free with Hilario Pesquera in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurinho Trezeguet came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hilario Pesquera could save by the left post. After 36 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Palomba. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Trezeguet in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Dario Betzanos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Maurinho Trezeguet got a free kick in the 50th minute. Dario Betzanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bran Allison having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Betzanos in the 52nd minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Petersen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricki Dresager in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Pesquera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cactos's Conrado Capixaba was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. Golden Dragón F.C's Modris Pavējš was substituted for Alan Petersen. Cactos's Luisinho Maciel was substituted for Ricki Dresager. John Beton made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Dragón F.C's Domingos Iliana. Modris Pavējš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bran Allison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute John Beton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Dragón F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Yepes was slow to take the kick. During this time Cactos's players had a chance to rest. Cactos's Mario Yepes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hilario Pesquera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fernandez Vizcarreto hit a great ball. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Tadeo Olmedilla replaced Dario Betzanos. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Fernandez Vizcarreto got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Luisinho Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hilario Pesquera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feng Xu Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Luisinho Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Pesquera. Golden Dragón F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Fernandez Vizcarreto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bran Allison firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Luisinho Maciel sped through Golden Dragón F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilario Pesquera. Golden Dragón F.C's Camerino Luey was substituted for Selim Mićić. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Camba in the 95th minute of play. Cactos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
