The corner led Wittbach SSA's Grzegorz Motowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Niculae Romanescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wittbach SSA's Roberto Ayala got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Lasso in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Romanescu saved CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting behind. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Grzegorz Motowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Wittbach SSA's players had a chance to rest. 64 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Marco van Basten came free, but Ján Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco van Basten got free with Ján Oblak in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco van Basten got free with Ján Oblak in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak got control of the ball when Velimir Bostandzhiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco van Basten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ján Oblak firmly grabbed it by the left post. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
