Oden Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bears are Back's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's players had a chance to rest. Bears are Back's Krzysztof Lodowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy were awarded a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ciccio Kowalczyk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bears are Back's Krzysztof Lodowy did a great save. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Manuel Bahamonde charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Manuel Bahamonde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bears are Back booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristan Lannister was the one to do the kick off. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Niemojewski in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy defense, Oden Vandamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Nowak. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Nowak should have stopped the shot. Krzysztof Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
