The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Petrulean. Tabalongo AFC's Zhang Hong Xun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Petrulean in the 7th minute of play. Vaccean Warriors were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Telo Papo took the corner. The corner led Vaccean Warriors's Telo Papo to fire away a dangerous shot which Zhang Hong Xun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vaccean Warriors's Jesus Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vaccean Warriors getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jesus Jesus hit a great ball. Salvador López got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomo De la Fuente. In the 22ndth minute of the game Serafín Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Chapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafín Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Zhang Hong Xun made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nicolae Petrulean sent off a good shot on target. Vaccean Warriors were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Tabalongo AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Telo Papo took the corner. Vaccean Warriors's Telo Papo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zhang Hong Xun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Vaccean Warriors defense, Serafín Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Chapel. The Vaccean Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Chapel should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Ariel Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Chapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Binjamin Ketelers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Chapel stood somewhat misplaced when Ariel Bautista came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Tabalongo AFC made a substitution. Marciano Asmussen replaced Binjamin Ketelers. The supporters of Tabalongo AFC booed when Vaccean Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Vaccean Warriors getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jesus Jesus hit a great ball. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tano Di Paolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafín Berganza in the 78th minute of play. Zhang Hong Xun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tano Di Paolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Tabalongo AFC's Marciano Asmussen in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dante Chapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bautista in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Tabalongo AFC's Dante Chapel threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marciano Asmussen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 92 played minutes Tabalongo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador López. Tabalongo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
