After 26 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Ricardo Oinaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Delfino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Vázquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joel Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gustaw Ludzia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Abelardo Alvarez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Sergio Martxel in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Luganeros AFC's Rene Sayvion. After the first half Luganeros AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Yu Quan Di replaced Ricardo Oinaz. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Otterlei in the 61st minute of play. Rey Ronaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Delfino having to make a save. Joel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Cosa Nostra's zone, Rey Ronaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Delfino came out of the goal and Rey Ronaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Cosa Nostra made a substitution. Marciano Bizen replaced Hans Otterlei. Luganeros AFC's Eduardo Liher was substituted for Amancio Claris. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Cosa Nostra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yu Quan Di was slow to take the kick. During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Delfino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute Marciano Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rey Ronaldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Delfino. That made the score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. Rey Ronaldo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Joel Delfino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Liher in the 92nd minute of the match. Joel Delfino was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Rey Ronaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rey Ronaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The La Cosa Nostra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luganeros AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
