Peter Parker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Lara in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Parker saved Project Nemesis from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Beardsley came free, but Guilherme Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Beardsley in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Parker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peter Parker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Alesandro Coutinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Parker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Luciano Acosta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Catarinense. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Catarinense should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Project Nemesis's Clark Kent got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alesandro Coutinho. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mané Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stanislaw Sniegowski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Transito Betonowy in the 60th minute of play. When Transito Betonowy came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Project Nemesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Transito Betonowy couldn't finish the play. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Mané Lara. Jacek Krzynowek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Jacek Krzynowek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Khan in the 90th minute of play. Peter Parker came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello. But to his dismay, Maurício Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Catarinense got control of the ball when Stanislaw Sniegowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Parker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Joinville United - FSCMZ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
