The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hans Otterlei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Sniegowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Hans Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Luciano Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Delfino having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Otterlei came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, A.J. Beardsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Acosta in the 36th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Joel Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Project Nemesis from getting a goal against them. Hans Otterlei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Delfino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Beardsley in the 41st minute of the match. Peter Parker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Otterlei in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Project Nemesis's Transito Betonowy was substituted for Luciano Acosta. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Otterlei was the one to do the kick off. Peter Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Benvide in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to La Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Benjamin Rafel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clark Kent got free with Joel Delfino in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tytus Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Project Nemesis's Filip Drugi was substituted for A.J. Beardsley. Bartolo Nesor replaced Arnaldo Perpinya. Joel Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Transito Betonowy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Bizen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Parker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After taking down the ball on La Cosa Nostra's corner Tytus Lepper fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Parker quite easily take care of the ball. Transito Betonowy hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a little luck, La Cosa Nostra's Joel Delfino got control of the ball when Stanislaw Sniegowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Parker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 88th minute Transito Betonowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Marciano Bizen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Parker. Project Nemesis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Bizen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 94th minute Marciano Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Lisewski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Peter Parker came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cosa Nostra's Marciano Bizen. But to his dismay, Marciano Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. La Cosa Nostra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
