An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 5th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbigniew Fiszer kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Pueblo came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Marcelo Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Dhondt in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Franky Dhondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Dhondt in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Ferreyra got free with Julio Falcioni in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Martín Ferreyra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Falcioni. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Dhondt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mateo Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dražen Ladić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Conor Gallagher. Dražen Ladić came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Franky Dhondt. But to his dismay, Franky Dhondt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Cardo Ruso Cordobés getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nils Hedlund hit a great ball. Julio Falcioni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Martín Ferreyra. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franky Dhondt to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 56th minute of play. Lucjan Sanocki made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Conor Gallagher however managed to control. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Falcioni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Bennvar Back cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dražen Ladić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bennvar Back struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dražen Ladić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. Jorge Panpili hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Marcelo Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennvar Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
