Fisica UNT booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucimar Barcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 5th minute of play forced Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dražen Ladić having to interfere. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Cordero in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Gröhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Raimundo Alvarenga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dražen Ladić. Dražen Ladić yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Elias Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dražen Ladić made a huge save. Marcel Branco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dražen Ladić firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Elias Siqueira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dražen Ladić to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Dražen Ladić managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elias Siqueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Dražen Ladić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Arsenal de Gols F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Orange. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Cordero to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Marcelo Cordero took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marcelo Gröhe to make any attempt to save it. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal de Gols F.C from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Gröhe made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marcelo Cordero sent off a good shot on target. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Siqueira in the 84th minute of play. Fabinho Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Gröhe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabinho Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Lombardo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dave Lombardo hit a great ball. Many of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT may have spent more time on the ball, but Arsenal de Gols F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
