The throw-in from Michael Åkerström in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Yalapa's Olaf Gall. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Diego Armando Junior hit a great ball. In the 10th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reto Knobel to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gabriel Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basri İhtiyar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Gall to maneuver through the defense. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gino Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Relyn Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Gabriel Vinhas went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Edward Jørnø got a free kick in the 71st minute. Relyn Futebol Clube's Ademar Meirelles was substituted for Michael Åkerström. Yalapa made a substitution. Samuel Tome replaced Marcos Firmo. In the 72nd minute, Edward Jørnø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gabriel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Tome took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Velasco. Gino Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gino Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Gabriel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 87th minute of the match. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vinhas in the 90th minute of play. After 92nd play minutes Leonardo Nogueira shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gino Velasco and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yalapa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
