Project Nemesis's attentive A.J. Beardsley managed to snatch the ball when Joe Kimutai made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Luciano Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Oinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Peter Parker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Parker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Vázquez's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Peter Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 21st minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Project Nemesis's Luciano Acosta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Porfiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Brecht Ablij in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Project Nemesis's Bayram Mutluay. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Acosta in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Luis Vázquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luganeros AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Project Nemesis's Transito Betonowy was substituted for Luciano Acosta. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Vázquez to make the kick off. Project Nemesis's Peter Parker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vázquez in the 55th minute of play. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Sniegowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Project Nemesis's Filip Drugi was substituted for A.J. Beardsley. Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Luis Vázquez. Project Nemesis made a substitution. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luganeros AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
