Dércio Valentim made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mané Lara immediately put the ball in play. In the 14th match minute, Brasil off was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Cayo to maneuver through the defense. Liu Chen Jian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Ortzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Catarinense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liu Chen Jian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Liu Chen Jian was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Mané Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mané Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 43 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dércio Valentim. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Leo Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Brasil off fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Ortzi couldn't finish the play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Liu Chen Jian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Joinville United - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
